Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Agency Officer role based in Bhubaneswar. The Agency Officer will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and supporting insurance agents to drive health insurance sales and expand the agency network. Daily tasks include coaching and motivating agents, monitoring performance against targets, conducting regular field visits, and ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance standards. The role involves building strong customer and partner relationships, organizing local sales and awareness activities, and providing product and process training to agency partners. The Agency Officer will also prepare reports, analyze sales data, and collaborate with internal teams to improve channel performance and customer experience.
Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development abilities, including experience in meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
• Skills in relationship management, networking, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to build and maintain agency and customer partnerships.
• Competence in communication, presentation, and negotiation, with clear and professional verbal and written skills.
• Understanding of health insurance or financial services products, processes, and regulatory requirements, or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Organizational and planning skills, including time management, territory planning, and accurate reporting and documentation.
• Comfort working in an on-site, field-focused role in Bhubaneswar, with readiness for regular local travel and client visits.
• Bachelors degree in any discipline; a background in business, finance, or marketing is an advantage.
• Prior experience in insurance, banking, or other financial services distribution or agency management is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM or sales tracking tools is beneficial.
