Position: Quantitative Research Analyst Statistical Machine Learning

Location: Gurgaon, India

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Experience: 2-3 years (experience in a similar organization not necessary)

Education: Masters/ Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline from a premier academic institution (Bachelors degree may be considered for exceptional in terms of experience & expertise candidates). Preference for individuals with a background at the intersection of Statistics and Machine Learning.

Role:

Collaborate with experienced quantitative analysts on financial market analysis and algorithm development.

Perform data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in complex datasets.

Optimize and validate algorithms for efficiency and accuracy, and contribute to technical documentation.

Work with software engineers to implement trading models for deployment in live markets.

Experience/Skills:

Proven experience in solving complex problems using statistical techniques, preferably in time-series analysis.

Demonstrated proficiency in real world applications of various statistical machine learning techniques.

Ability to apply mathematical and analytical skills to tackle real-world problems.

Proficiency in at least one programming language - C, C++ or Python.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
