Job Description
- As a Development/Purchase & Costing professional with a background in Automotive New Technology Components, your role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Costing [ZBC], quote analysis, making costing & negotiation strategies and negotiation with suppliers.
- Teardown & functional analysis, cost estimation, part level benchmarking, and techno-commercial comparison of components like Wiring Harness, Lamps, HVAC, Controllers, Wiping System, High Voltage Compressor, ADAS, Sensors, etc.
- Vehicle Cost Analysis, P&L understanding, and preparation.
- Analyzing components in comparison to competitor vehicle parts.
- Generating innovative value enhancement & design to cost proposals.
- Demonstrating techno-commercial knowledge in areas such as Wiring Harness, Lamps, HVAC, Controllers, Wiping System, High Voltage Compressor, ADAS, Sensors.
- Being a self-initiator, team player, and passionate about analysis and design intent.
- Generating ideas for cost/weight reduction & new technology.
- Possessing excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and report writing.
Additional Details:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Competencies required include thorough technical and commercial knowledge of automotive/electrical systems, planning and scheduling activities, effective communication with peers, vendors, and machine makers, as well as a positive attitude towards new initiatives.
- Behavioral expectations include being a good team player, having sound integrity, and displaying good manners.
Qualifications:
- B. E / B. Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.,
