In MSIL – BU Hansalpur, Plant A started operating from February 2017, subsequently Plant B, Powertrain Plant started in January 2019. In October 2020, MSIL-BU Hansalpur became the fastest production site of Maruti Suzuki to achieve accumulated automobile production of 1 million units. MSIL – Hansalpur is also home of Maruti Suzukis prestigious e-Vitara, the first EV of Maruti Suzuki in world. The plant proudly exported the e-Vitara to more than 165 countries so far. Today, Maruti Suzuki has its eyes set firmly on the possibilities of tomorrow.

About the Role

We are looking for paint shop production and quality professionals having relevant experience in handling day to day paint shop production by ensuring quality parameters for our Hansalpur facility in Gujar

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth running of Paint shop Process - Pretreatment & CED, Sanding, Dry Sanding, Sealer & UB, Topcoat, Inspection & Repair, Baking Repair.
• Monitoring of incoming defects from Press and Weld shop
• Defect outflow monitoring to internal customers - GCA, PQ, VI and Port
• Knowledge of ISO standards and documentation like QMS, EMS, and ISO 9001
• Expert in workforce planning, deployment and management
• Monitoring of Production stoppages and losses
• New models trials and PB code setting (VTS & all equipment & Robot
• Exposure of progress control systems like CCR & VTS operation
• Ensure records of Time study, Tat time and cycle time of paint shop
• Should understand paint defects, root cause analysis and countermeasures to reduce defects
• Support in problem-solving, kaizen & continuous improvements.
• Handling of shift operation of all paint shop
• Ensure safety, health and hygiene, Occupational health and safety at shop floor.

Qualification

B. Tech/BE in Electrical or Mechanical or Paint Technology

Required Skills

• Well-structured and organized working style
• In-depth knowledge & understanding of paint shop processes, robots maintenance and PLC.
• Support to 5s, problem solving and various compliances and audits as per requirement.
