Retail Merchandising Manager - (Planning & Buying)

• Strategy & Planning

1. Develop Merchandising Strategy: Create and execute seasonal and long-term merchandising strategies that align with company goals, target audience, and brand image.
2. Market Analysis: Monthly visits to stores to understand merchandise performance, competition performance and changes/gaps , if any.
3. Buying: Plan out the projection for fashion collections for new season as well as for core business monthly basis ROS and stock cover

• Assortment & Inventory Management

1. Product Assortment: Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including selecting, sourcing, and curating product assortments for specific categories or regions.
   
2. Inventory Control: Monitor weekly allocations, stock flow, and distribution across channels to minimize stock outs and overstock/markdown risks by closely monitoring MBQs
3. Promotions: planning the discounts on aged inventory for liquidation across all channels

• Reporting & Analysis

1. Performance Monitoring: Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, sell-through rate, new launches, Store space efficiency (SPSF) and stock cover analysis
2. Reporting: Prepare and present detailed performance reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management.

1. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the merchandising teamto ensure high performance and alignment with business objectives.
2. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Buying/Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain, to ensure cohesive execution of merchandising plans.

Key Requirement:

1. Minimum 10 years experience in similar role.
2. Must be willing to travel
3. Knowledge of home textiles will be an advantage
