Job Description
Objective of the role:
The role involves managing and developing relationships with high-net-worth clients. The primary objective is to understand the clients' financial goals, provide personalized investment advice, and offer tailored wealth management solutions to help clients achieve their financial objectives. The role includes working collaboratively with wealth advisors, investment teams, portfolio analysts, service managers and clients.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, both for new acquisitions and existing clients, by understanding their financial needs, risk tolerance, and long-term goals. Acting as the main point of contact for all financial inquiries and requests. Build and grow a very sustainable advisory franchise by achieving revenue and client goals for the firm.
- Actively participating in business development activities to expand the client base and acquiring new high-net-worth clients. This may involve networking, prospecting, and participating in marketing initiatives.
- Analysing client investment portfolios, including keeping track of portfolio performance, risk assessment and identifying areas to maximise clients' financial goals and objectives.
- Working closely with the Advisory team to understand and disseminate the Advisory put out by the team for portfolio management across all asset classes. Work collaboratively with the Products & Research team to discuss investment ideas, client feedback.
- Liaisoning with various internal departments involved in managing client portfolios/relationships.
- Managing and meeting client expectations and objectives as described in the engagement letter and scope of services.
- Identifying and expanding the scope of work of the relationship based on clients' needs.
- Identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing client base to increase revenue.
- Providing solutions to clients beyond investments and wealth management, in areas such as Philanthropy, Succession Planning, including Trust and estate planning, family constitution, mentoring the next generation, providing education roadmaps, designing and implementation of stand operation procedures at the client's office, recruiting talent for the client's family office, etc.
- Staying abreast of industry developments, market trends, participating in special projects and strategic department initiatives.

- Ability to successfully develop strong working relationships with clients, senior management, and key decision makers in the client relationship.

- Understand clients' risk profile and maximise the risk vs. reward balance for individual clients by optimising product mix in consultation with the investment team.
- Ability to take initiative in a dynamic and constantly changing industry, and ability to adopt a generalist mindset.
- Strong communication skills. Good interpersonal skills.
