Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Varanasi. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new partnerships, driving admissions growth, and expanding the institutes market presence in Purvanchal and surrounding regions. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and meeting with potential corporate and academic partners, managing lead-generation activities, and nurturing relationships with students, parents, and institutions. The Business Development Manager will plan and execute local outreach campaigns, presentations, and events to promote Mastermind Gurukuls courses, while closely tracking performance metrics and reporting results to leadership. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and academic teams to refine offerings, improve the admission experience, and ensure alignment with the institutes strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and client relationship management, preferably within education, training, or professional services.
• Experience in marketing outreach, including educational counseling, event promotion, and partnership-building with schools, colleges, and corporate organizations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and convert leads to enrollments.
• Ability to analyze market trends, track performance data, and prepare clear reports and proposals to support strategic decision-making.
• Comfortable working on-site in Varanasi and engaging in fieldwork, local travel, and face-to-face meetings as part of daily responsibilities.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic digital platforms; familiarity with digital marketing concepts or AI-powered tools is an advantage.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience in business development or education services will also be considered.
• Self-directed, target-focused work style, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a small, dynamic team environment.
