Manager - Accounting

- The candidate will handle our accounting operations, ensuring financial integrity, reporting

accuracy, and compliance with US financial regulations.

- This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial management, capable of guiding financial decisions and improving financial performance.

- Full responsibility of month-end closing activities, preparation and consolidation of financial

statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and local financial regulations, including overseeing preparation and posting of journal entries and topside accruals.

- Implement and oversee financial controls to ensure integrity in all financial transactions and reporting, including reviewing accuracy of information in G/L accounts and taking corrective action, if needed.

- Manage external audit processes, ensuring adherence to financial policies and statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure alignment of financial strategies and reporting.

- Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and industry trends, implementing necessary changes in financial practices and strategies.

- Development of ad-hoc reports and management of special projects as required by management.

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Minimum 67 years of post-qualification experience (excluding Articleship)

- Mandatory experience in manufacturing entity

Should currently be employed at:

- A company with revenue around 1,500 - 3,000 Crores, or

- Counterpart entity (with similar revenue scale) of a multinational organization

Strong expertise in:

- General Ledger (GL) functions and Review

- End-to-End Accounting Management

- Financial Closure

- Preparation and review of Financial Statements

- Experience should extend beyond financial consolidation

- Expertise in accounting software (e.g., Syspro, SAP, Oracle) (Excluding Tally)

- Advanced MS Excel skills

- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Accuracy and attention to detail coupled with aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.

- Ability to work independently and keep deadlines.

- Experience in leading and mentoring accounting teams
