Job Description
Primary PurposeThe China & APZ Supply Chain Network Design Manager supports the strategic imperatives of the Global Supply Chain Organization. The position’s primary purpose is to collaborate with key business partners to provide holistic, objective, and forward-looking network design business intelligence, thought leadership and process excellence in support of growth and improved financial performance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead Network Design continuous improvement opportunities with a focus on cost savings, capacity improvements and capital avoidance.
- Support the business intelligence needs of the China and APZ business units:
- Supply timely, accurate, unbiased, comprehensive business intelligence to senior executives.
- Include data based, objective opinions and views.
- Identify appropriate data sources, analyze and interpret data.
- Perform network design and analytical activities utilizing the appropriate software tools and data sources.
- Identify, lead and/or contribute to feasibility studies pertaining to Supply Chain.
- Identify data process automation activities to provide up to date insights.
- Provide and analyse loss data to direct improvement opportunities.
- Support PCS system development through data insights/scorecard improvements.
- Assist on business-critical projects and initiatives to ensure successful completion.

Required Skills
- Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, (Any technical curriculum).
- Five years or more of Supply Chain related experience.
- Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Data & Analytics, and Digitalization
- The ability to work with, summarize and manipulate large data sets.
- The ability to manage one’s work with limited oversight and to represent the Network Design team from abroad.
