- As a member of the Technology team at Meritto, your primary focus will be on problem-solving and building innovative solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining systems that drive Meritto's operations, utilizing cutting-edge tools to deliver scalable and innovative solutions. Your coding efforts directly impact the value we provide to our users, making your role crucial in our mission.
We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled QA Automation Lead with at least 4-5 years of experience in automation framework development. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in Python, particularly with pytest, and practical exposure to continuous integration tools such as Jenkins. In this role, you will lead the QA automation initiatives, shape the strategic automation direction, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Crafting robust automation frameworks using Selenium with Python.
- Leading automation testing endeavors and guiding a small team of QA engineers.
- Elevating test coverage and quality metrics across projects consistently.
- Collaborating with diverse teams to grasp requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
- Identifying automation opportunities and implementing industry best practices.
- Integrating test suites into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins.
- Serving as the final checkpoint before live deployment.
- Engaging with developers, designers, and product managers.
- Reviewing product documents and specifications to prepare comprehensive test cases.
- Logging and tracking defects through Defect Management tools.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- MCA or B.Tech in Computer Science/IT engineering.
- 4-5 years of experience in Test Automation.
- Proficiency in Python and Selenium.
- Strong multitasking abilities and a readiness to exceed expectations.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with traditional SDLC and agile/scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of various testing types (functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, system, etc.).
- Experience in database, script, and browser testing.
- Preferably hands-on experience with issue tracking platforms like JIRA or Zoho Sprints.
- Basic understanding of web concepts, relational and non-relational database management systems.
- Experience in web service testing (REST, JSON, HTTP).
- Proficiency in version control tools like Git.
