Plant Head - Manufacturing

Role Summary:
We are seeking a Plant Manager to lead our upcoming Mysore facility, driving end-to-end manufacturing operations in alignment with global standards. This role will work closely with cross-functional leaders across Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance, HR, and Projects, as well as global sites, to ensure seamless execution of production, quality, and business objectives. Reporting to the Global Operations Leader, the role also partners closely with the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all plant operations including production, planning, quality, procurement, logistics, and supply chain
- Drive achievement of targets across cost, quality, delivery, safety, and compliance
- Ensure adherence to EHS, regulatory, and corporate governance standards

- Implement and optimize manufacturing processes, focusing on efficiency, quality, and scalability
- Champion Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment planning
- Collaborate with global teams to align plant performance with business strategy
- Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, capability building, and succession planning
- Ensure robust systems, processes, and access governance across operations
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Production Engineering, Operations, or related discipline
- 15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with leadership roles in electronics assembly or EMS
- Strong expertise in PCBA and high-precision electronics manufacturing
- Proven experience managing medium-scale plants with serial production and global exposure
- Deep understanding of production planning, supply chain, and operational excellence
- Experience in MNC environments with exposure to international best practices
