Job Description
- As a Marketing Engineer/Executive in the Industrial Batteries and UPS division, your role will involve engaging in direct sales activities, managing key accounts, and expanding business opportunities with institutional clients and channel partners, primarily focusing on the UPS sector. Your responsibilities will include prospecting sales opportunities in the UPS sector, overseeing key accounts with major institutional buyers, nurturing business relationships with channel partners, identifying and recruiting new channel partners in untapped regions, delivering sales presentations, initiating promotional activities, facilitating techno-commercial discussions, preparing product offers, and ensuring post-sales service support.
To excel in this role, you should hold an engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics, or possess a graduate degree coupled with relevant technical sales experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales within industries like Telecom, Process Control, UPS, Pumps, Switchgear, or Industrial Electronics is essential. Additionally, having an MBA/PG Diploma in Business Administration from a reputed institute is preferred.
The ideal candidate will exhibit strong sales and account management skills, a technical orientation with a deep understanding of customer needs, excellent communication abilities in local languages, effective coordination and interpersonal skills, and the capability to perform well under pressure and within unstructured team environments.
