Assistant Professor -Home Science Department

MGM University is seeking a dedicated and qualified Assistant Professor in Home Science to join our esteemed faculty team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a strong background in Home science, and a commitment to academic excellence. As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting research, and mentoring students in their academic and professional pursuits.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Home Science courses.
• Develop and update curriculum to reflect the latest advancements in the field.
• Conduct and publish research in reputable journals and conferences.
• Provide academic and career guidance to students.
• Participate in departmental and institutional activities, including committees and academic boards.

Qualification

• B.Sc. -Home Science /Community Science in a relevant branch or field with 1^st class or equivalent from a recognized university.
• M.Sc.- Home Sci/ Food Nutrition & Dietetics, Human Development, Extension Education.
• Demonstrated 2 years teaching experience is desirable.
• Strong research background with publications in reputed journals or conferences.
• Expertise in one or more areas of Computer Science Engineering (e.g., algorithms, artificial intelligence, software engineering, data science, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to high-quality education and student-centered learning.

Preferred:

• Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
• Ph.D. candidate will be preferred.
• A strong commitment to teaching and research in Home Science Field
• Active participation in professional societies and academic networks.
