Head - Human Resources - Startup

Role Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of HR to lead our people operations in Noida. In this role, you will act as the primary architect of our organizational culture, working closely with the founding team to scale our workforce while maintaining the agility of a high-growth start-up. You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, from designing innovative talent acquisition strategies to implementing performance management frameworks that drive business outcomes. By bridging the gap between leadership vision and employee experience, you will play a pivotal role in building a high-performance environment that attracts and retains top-tier talent in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract high-caliber professionals who align with our long-term growth objectives.
• Implement scalable performance management systems that foster a culture of accountability and continuous professional development across all departments.
• Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including payroll, statutory compliance, and benefits administration, to ensure seamless organizational functionality.
• Partner with the leadership team to define and nurture a unique company culture that promotes employee engagement, retention, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and manage robust HR policies and grievance redressal mechanisms to maintain a transparent, equitable, and compliant workplace environment.
• Analyze people-related data and metrics to provide actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

Required Skillset:

• Demonstrated ability to lead HR functions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with a proven track record of scaling teams from the ground up.
• Strong proficiency in designing and implementing modern HR tech stacks and automated workflows to streamline administrative processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and manage complex employee relations with empathy and professional maturity.
• Deep understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance requirements to mitigate organizational risk.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate company values and vision to diverse internal and external audiences.
• A post-graduate degree in Human Resources or a related field from a premier institute is highly preferred.
• Ability to thrive in an on-site work environment in Noida, demonstrating the flexibility and hands-on approach required in a start-up setting.
