People and Culture Leader (India)

Based in India and supporting both ourIndia operationsandAustralia Head Office, this role will be pivotal in ensuring we attract, develop, and retain exceptional people aligned with our companys mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with global leadership to ensure the company has theright skills in the right roles at the right timeto deliver on strategic goals.
• Leadend-to-end recruitmentacross India and Australia, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for technical and business roles.
• Represent the company professionally to potential candidates and build trusted relationships with recruitment partners and universities.
• Manageonboarding and induction programsto ensure a smooth and engaging experience for new hires.
• Support and administerperformance management and professional developmentprograms that promote a culture of accountability and growth.
• Develop and implementpeople policies and governancealigned with global standards and local regulations.
• Partner with leadership tostrengthen company culture, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and respect across regions.
• Coordinatetraining, engagement, and upskilling initiativesto support employee growth and retention.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, helping resolve HR-related matters with empathy and professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with alllocal labour laws and HR best practicesin India.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum35 years experiencein HR, talent acquisition, or people operations within an international or multi-site business.

• Strong understanding ofrecruitment, onboarding, and performance managementprocesses.
• Fluentspoken and written Englishwith the ability to communicate confidently with senior leaders and cross-border teams.
• Demonstrated ability to operateindependentlyand take ownership of outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to build trust across cultures.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Experience aligning local HR practices withglobal frameworks and policiesis highly desirable.
