Role Overview
The Head – Legal & Liaisoning leads MicroMittis legal, regulatory, compliance, land due-diligence, and government-relations functions across all current and future projects. The role is the strategic bridge between MicroMitti and government departments, development and revenue authorities, RERA, and legal stakeholders — ensuring clean titles, timely approvals, watertight contracts, and disciplined risk management. Given MicroMittis co-investment model, land-title integrity and investor-protective documentation are central to the trust proposition.
Why this role matters now: MicroMitti co-invests its own capital into whole land alongside investors — so title clarity, contract enforceability, and CEO-signed legal governance are not back-office tasks, they are core to the trust the brand is built on.
Key Responsibility Areas
Government Liaisoning & Approvals

• Serve as the primary interface with government authorities, regulatory agencies, and local administration.
• Build strong working relationships across Revenue, Town & Country Planning, Municipal Corporations, Development Authorities, RERA, and Registration departments.
• Obtain and manage all project approvals, licenses, NOCs, and statutory clearances within timelines; handle land conversion, diversion, zoning, and layout approvals.
  

Legal Strategy & Risk

• Act as principal legal advisor to the CEO on legal, regulatory, and commercial matters.
• Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risk; advise on policy changes affecting real estate and PropTech.
  

Land Due Diligence & Title Integrity

• Lead legal due diligence for land acquisitions, joint developments, and co-investment projects — verifying titles, encumbrances, and litigation before any capital is committed.
• Manage sale deeds, development agreements, JV agreements, and land documentation; ensure clear, marketable titles.
  

Compliance & Contract Governance

• Ensure compliance with RERA, Companies Act, Transfer of Property Act, Registration Act, stamp duty, labour, and environmental laws.
• Own contract drafting and management end-to-end — including channel-partner, construction-management, and employment agreements — with enforceable, investor-protective terms and Indore jurisdiction.
• Enforce legal governance, including CEO signature on all outbound legal documents per MicroMittis legal SOP.
  

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

• Lead litigation, arbitration, and dispute management; coordinate external counsel and drive timely closure.
  

Qualification

Get Hired

• LL.B. from a recognized university (mandatory); LL.M. and Bar Council registration preferred.
• Certifications in Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, or Arbitration an advantage.
  

Experience

• 15–20+ years in Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, and Government Liaisoning, with 8–10 years in senior leadership.
• Strong real estate, infrastructure, PropTech, or large-scale development background.
