Role Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Business Head will be responsible for driving the overall business performance of Miraggio by leading strategy execution, operational excellence, profitability, and organizational growth. The role requires a highly entrepreneurial leader who can scale a high-growth consumer brand while ensuring seamless collaboration across Supply Chain, Retail, E-commerce, Product, Marketing, HR, and Customer Experience. As a key member of the leadership team, the COO will partner closely with the Founder & CEO to translate business vision into measurable outcomes and build systems, teams, and processes that enable sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy & Leadership:
- Partner with the Founder & CEO to define and execute the company's growth strategy.
- Own the business P&L and drive revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Translate strategic goals into executable business plans across departments.
- Build a scalable organization capable of supporting rapid business expansion.
2. Business Operations:
- Lead end-to-end business operations across D2C, marketplaces, retail stores, warehousing, supply chain, customer experience, and business support functions.
- Drive operational excellence by standardizing processes, implementing KPIs, and improving productivity.
- Ensure smooth execution of cross-functional initiatives and business priorities.
3. Commercial & Financial Management:
- Drive topline growth while improving margins and profitability.
- Review financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and cost structures.
- Optimize operational costs without compromising customer experience or quality.
- Monitor inventory productivity, working capital, and cash flow.
4. Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
- Oversee demand planning, procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and fulfillment.
- Improve inventory turns, stock availability, and supply chain efficiency.
- Build scalable sourcing and vendor management processes.
5. Retail & Omnichannel Excellence:
- Drive operational excellence across offline retail stores and online channels.
- Improve store productivity, customer experience, and operational compliance.
- Ensure seamless omnichannel execution across all customer touchpoints.
6. People Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing leadership teams.
- Establish a strong performance-driven culture with clear accountability.
- Drive organizational capability, succession planning, and leadership development.
7. Process Improvement & Governance:
- Design scalable SOPs and governance frameworks across business functions.
- Implement dashboards and MIS for data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure statutory, legal, audit, and compliance requirements are met.
8. Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with internal leadership teams, investors (if required), strategic partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Represent the company in strategic business discussions and negotiations.

Qualifications:
- MBA from a reputed institute preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Additional certifications in Operations, Supply Chain, Strategy, or Lean Six Sigma will be an advantage.
- 10 - 15 years of leadership experience in D2C, Fashion, Lifestyle, Retail, Consumer Goods, or E-commerce.
- Proven track record of scaling high-growth consumer businesses.
- Experience managing P&L and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong exposure to supply chain, retail operations, omnichannel commerce, and business strategy.
- Prior experience in founder-led organizations or high-growth startups is highly preferred.
