Taxation Officer - Goods And Services Tax

What role you will play in team: You will be a key member of our team managing GST compliance for various projects within MIT.

What you will do: You will perform GST calculations, prepare returns, and interact with tax authorities as required. You will help maintain accurate records and comply with all GST regulations.

Key responsibility:

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns.
• Perform GST compliance audits.
• Manage GST input and output tax credits.
• Maintain detailed GST-related records and documentation.
• 
  Address queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with tax authorities on GST related issues.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in commerce or related field.
• Understanding of the Goods and Services Tax Act.
• Experience using GST accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
