Job Description
What role you will play in team: You will be a key member of our team managing GST compliance for various projects within MIT.
What you will do: You will perform GST calculations, prepare returns, and interact with tax authorities as required. You will help maintain accurate records and comply with all GST regulations.
Key responsibility:
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns.
- Perform GST compliance audits.
- Manage GST input and output tax credits.
- Maintain detailed GST-related records and documentation.
- Address queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with tax authorities on GST related issues.
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or related field.
- Understanding of the Goods and Services Tax Act.
- Experience using GST accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
