Job Title
Sr. Executive / Executive - Video Editor

Reporting Authority- Manager
2.Job Purpose
- Responsible for recording the videos during the event.
- Responsible for putting up video content for digital marketing for all the social initiatives before, during, and after the event.
3.Key Accountability
Strategic
- Responsible for creating AVs related to social initiatives happening in MITWPU.
Operational
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
- Hands-on experience in editing software packages, understanding of filmmaking, basic grammar regarding the process involved, pre-production, and production.
- (Adobe Premiere 2022, Adobe After Effects 2022, Final Cut Pro X)
- Creative GIF making, Doodling, and motion graphics as additional expertise and understanding.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing, and motion graphics.
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
- Creativity within and storytelling skills through Audio audio-visual process.
- Film videos on set or location.
- Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working.
- Edit footage in post-production.
- Create Folders for projects, footage, audio files, images, and graphics.
- Use of keyboard short keys for faster editing.
- Focus on Music & voice-over it is also a key factor in making Videos.
- Exporting Final Output to various formats as per Requirement - Full HD, SD, Webcasting, etc.
- Sharing Final Output data to the Concerned Department, and social media immediately.

Collaborations
- Responsible for working with our creative team to plan, film, and edit video content according to MITWPU.
- Ensuring that the necessary filing equipment is available for use, directing other camera operators on set, and editing film footage.
- Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired.
- Sharing Rough-Cut with the concerned person & making the changes accordingly for Final output.
Academic
- A bachelor's degree/ Diploma in any domain.
- MBA/PGDM in Advertising/Mass Communication
- Certification in Editing from a reputed institute or 3-6 years. of experience in the desired domain.

- Applicant should have a flair for editing and visual effects and should be able to adapt to the fast-paced work culture.
- Accurate content will be produced under tight deadlines.
- Ability to think outside of the box.
- Ability to communicate to the tech-savvy as well as in layman's terms, interchangeably.
- Experience in the Education sector will be an added advantage.
- Editing software like (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Motion Graphics, and After Effects, etc.)
