Experience Requirements

- 47 years in commercial vehicle service/logistics/fleet operations

- Field operations & rollout experience

- Exposure to EV operations preferred

Role Purpose

The Assistant Manager Business Solutions supports the Solution Development Manager(SDM) in designing, validating, and deploying EV operating models for customers. The role focuses on operational assessment, feasibility validation, pilot execution, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

- Accurate and complete operational data for feasibility & solution design

- Successful and stable pilot launches with minimal operational deviations

- High uptime, vehicle availability and route adherence

- Clear documentation of field learnings

- Improved transporter, driver, and supervisory readiness

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Assessment & Field Study

- Conduct route recce, hub/yard studies, and driver interactions

- Capture data on distance, payload patterns, trip cycles, idle time

- Validate operational constraints affecting EV feasibility

- Identify operational risks & behavioral patterns

2. Feasibility & Solution Support

- Assist SDM in building route feasibility assessments

- Validate charging schedule assumptions on-ground

- Provide field data inputs for TCO models

- Support preparation of deployment plans and documentation

3. Pilot Deployment Execution

- Coordinate with transporters, supervisors & site teams

- Ensure adherence to operating model during pilot

- Capture performance metrics and track issues

4. Deployment Stability & Improvement

- Monitor route adherence, utilization & productivity

- Identify operational gaps and support corrective actions

- Implement SOPs and ensure compliance

- Document learnings for scale-up

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work with Body builders and Vendors for support solutions

- Provide field insights to product & Service teams

- Support during customer engagements
