Store Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations including sales, inventory, staff management, and customer service.
  
• Ensure stock availability, proper merchandising, and timely replenishment of goods.
  
• Monitor and achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
  
• Maintain high standards of store hygiene, safety, and visual presentation.
  
• Supervise, train, and motivate store team members to achieve performance goals.
  
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
  
• Manage cash handling, billing accuracy, and daily financial reconciliations.
  
• Coordinate with the purchase and logistics team for stock management and deliveries.
  
• Conduct regular audits on stock, shrinkage, and store compliance.
  
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales, expenses, and operational performance.
  
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and statutory compliances.
  
• Drive promotional activities and local marketing initiatives to boost sales.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
  
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supermarket or retail store management.
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  
• Excellent knowledge of retail operations and inventory control.
  
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
  
• Proficient in MS Office and POS systems.
  
• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per store requirements.
