Area Manager

– Area Manager (IFA Investment Products)

Location: Pan India

Reporting To: Cluster Manager

Role Purpose:

Drive business growth through the IFA channel by managing and expanding relationships with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs). Lead the area sales team to achieve AUM and revenue targets while driving the distribution of investment products including Mutual Funds, PMS, AIF, PE, Unlisted Shares, Equity Advisory, Direct Equity, Bonds, and Insurance.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve assigned AUM and revenue targets.

Manage and strengthen relationships with existing IFAs.

Recruit and activate new IFAs to expand the channel network.

Lead, mentor, and monitor the sales team to achieve business objectives.

Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and investor seminars.

Ensure high-quality sales support, query resolution, and partner servicing.

Drive product penetration and ensure compliance with company policies.

Eligibility

Education: Postgraduate (MBA/PGDM preferred)

Experience: 3+ years in investment product sales through the IFA channel.

Prior team handling experience is preferred.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Mutual Funds, PMS, AIF, Insurance, Bonds, and Capital Markets.

Understanding of the IFA ecosystem and indirect distribution channel.

Excellent relationship management, sales, and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and Business Intelligence tools.
