Job Description

  • This role is responsible for the execution of our internal communications program and activities for the India Hub, and key initiatives and programs Human Resources team.
  • Partnering with multiple stakeholders including external partners, Executive & Senior Leaders, key business representatives (subject matter experts), and the broader group marketing team, this role requires the ability to think strategically, while having a proactive and hands-on approach in producing quality communications.
  • The role will have a significant contribution to the overall people experience by developing internal engagement and communications plans; writing content aligned to the India Hub (Global Capability Centre) strategy, culture, EVP, and ensuring alignment with the overall organisational brand and values.
  • No two days are ever alike in this role, which will suit someone with a high attention to detail and a positive outlook.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
India Hub (GCC)
  • Develop and execute an effective internal communication plan for India Hub to ensure a strong strategic narrative is woven throughout the business. Plan is to be developed with the MD of the India Hub as the key stakeholder, and in close collaboration with the CMO and Director, People Partnering, Advisory & Facilities.
  • Plan and manage leadership communications, build detailed communication plans and advise and support stakeholders to tailor communications to achieve specific outcomes.
  • Advise on the right forum, timing and content of internal communication, to ensure employees are informed, engaged and empowe'red
  • Development and creation of key communications such as content for employee emails, management of the India Hub Intranet home page, writing the MD s employee updates, managing the MD s Town Hall meetings (including logistics and providing support in creating materials) and supporting change management and key initiative communications
  • Collaborate with the broader Group Marketing team (comprising marketing, communications, creative, brand and sustainability) to ensure consistency in tone of voice and narrative, across all communications within the Hub and other global communications and initiatives.
  • Manage the external agency relationship to support delivery of strong external communications across platforms such as LinkedIn (as a contributor for the India Hub to our global LinkedIn account) and local media publications.
  • Positively grow and develop the India Hub reputation and overall MPMS brand, in the local market.
  • Work closely with the CMO to ensure consistency of all external communications in terms of narrative, message and delivery of campaigns.
  • Measure the success of internal communications activities and initiatives and provide reporting.
  • Work closely with the Director, People Partnering, Advisory & Facilities to plan, write and deliver employee communications to support key initiatives impacting employees and EVP , including Hiring and Campus Connects.
  • Collaborate with the broader Group Marketing team (comprising marketing, communications, creative, brand and sustainability) to develop creative assets as required for the above, and to ensure consistency in tone of voice and narrative across all communications.

Experience & Personal Attributes

    At least 15 years working within complex financial services industries
  • At least 5 years experience working within marketing / brand or communications
  • Prefer the candidate has worked in a GCC of a Bank, Fintech or IT Product/Services company
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communications skills including ability to develop succinct, to the point presentations for stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Advanced Word and PowerPoint skills
  • An understanding of MPMS s businesses would be an advantage
