Muthoottu Mini - Recovery Manager - Microfinance

About Us:
Muthoottu Mini Financiers Ltd., one of India's leading NBFCs with decades of trusted service in financial solutions, is expanding its Microfinance Division.
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Recovery Manager to lead and manage recovery and collection activities across the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recovery operations for microfinance loans and ensure achievement of collection and recovery targets.
- Monitor overdue accounts, identify default cases, and implement effective recovery strategies.
- Coordinate with field officers and branch staff to ensure timely follow-ups and recoveries.
- Handle soft and hard collections while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Conduct field visits, meet customers, and resolve repayment issues on-ground.

- Track and analyze delinquency reports, prepare MIS, and share periodic updates with senior management.
- Liaise with legal and collection agencies for escalation and recovery of chronic default accounts.
- Train and motivate recovery/collection teams to enhance performance and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory norms, and ethical collection practices.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Experience: 3-8 years in recovery/collections within Microfinance sector.
Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline.
Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and team-handling skills
- Good communication and negotiation ability
- Proficiency in field recovery, portfolio analysis, and MIS reporting
- Familiar with local geography and customer behavior
- Preference: Candidates with experience in the Ernakulam region or nearby districts.
