Role Description The Business Development Manager role is a full-time position based in Jamshedpur, This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with B2B travel agents and corporate & retail clients, and expanding My Universe Trips market presence. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and onboarding new partners, negotiating commercial terms, maintaining strong account management practices, and tracking performance against sales and revenue targets. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and customer support teams to design effective campaigns, refine offerings, and improve partner and customer satisfaction. The role also involves preparing sales reports, analyzing market trends, and providing strategic input to help shape the companys growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong business development, sales, and account management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Experience in the travel, tourism, or e-commerce sector, with understanding of online travel portals, B2B travel networks, and customer acquisition strategies.
• Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and forecasting to identify growth opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
• Solid organizational, planning, and time-management skills to handle multiple initiatives and meet performance targets.
• Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (Word, Excel), and other sales or collaboration platforms.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Proven ability to work in a corporate environment, demonstrating self-motivation, accountability, and a collaborative approach.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and partner visits as required.
