Job Description
What role you will play in team: You’ll be part of a team dedicated to efficiently and fairly processing life insurance claims for our policyholders.
What you will do: This involves reviewing claim documentation, verifying information, and guiding claims through the approval process.
Key responsibility:
- Reviewing submitted claim documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Verifying policy information and beneficiary details.
- Contacting claimants to gather additional information if needed.
- Following established claims processing procedures.
- Documenting all actions and decisions within the claims management system.
- Collaborating with other departments (e.g., underwriting) as needed.
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience in a claims processing role preferred, but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using computers and related software.
