Job DetailsQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in accounting\ Finance or related field, with at least 5-7 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Knowledge of AU financial regulations, and university financial policies and procedures.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Account balancing and reconciling skills.Knowledge of standard and/or fund accounting principles, methods, and applications.Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections.Ability to set up and maintain financial accounts and ledgers.Working knowledge of MS Excel spreadsheet software to quantify and illustrate routine financial reports, statements, and/or projections.Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures.Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting applications.Company DescriptionFounded in 1988 as the first private institution of higher education in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region, Ajman University (AU) is now being recognized as an emerging leader on the global academic map.
