Section Head- Projects (Emiratization)

Our client is a government entity established in 2023 to oversee, manage, and coordinate Abu Dhabi's government capital projects and infrastructure programme.

Job Summary

• The Al Dhafra Projects Section Head is responsible for leading and coordinating
• construction projects across the Al Dhafra region to ensure successful delivery in line
• with approved scope, quality standards, and timelines. The role focuses on project
• execution, site coordination, and effective oversight of project delivery from start to
• finish. The position sits within the Projects Operations Sector, Regional Areas Projects
• Department.

Responsibilities

• • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in the Al
• Dhafra region.
• • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with quality
• requirements.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and support timely resolution.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders to support

• effective project delivery.
• • Review project milestones, reports, and updates to maintain control over
• schedule and quality.
• • Support site-level issue resolution and follow up on project implementation
• requirements.
• • Ensure compliance with applicable project procedures, standards, and delivery
• requirements.
• • Contribute to improving project execution practices and delivery performance
• across the section.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, or Diploma with 7 years of

experience.

• Strong project management experience, preferably in construction projects.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive delivery to deadlines.
• Strong understanding of project execution, quality control, and time

management.

• Regional knowledge of Al Dhafra is preferred.
