Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Banking and Financial Services and additional exposure to Information Technology. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring successful delivery of projects that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and documentation sessions to capture detailed requirements.
• Process Mapping & Improvement:
• Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for optimization.
• Recommend solutions aligned with industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Solution Design & Validation:
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and validate technology solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and are scalable for future requirements.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external vendors.
• Communicate effectively to manage expectations and ensure timely delivery.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Perform data-driven analysis to support decision-making.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior management.
• Compliance & Risk Management:
• Ensure adherence to banking regulations, security standards, and risk management frameworks.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of Banking and Financial Services processes (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Payments, Risk & Compliance).
• Exposure to IT systems, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Business Analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to write SQL queries on database

Educational Qualifications

• Degree in Business Management / IT (MBA/PGDBA/PGDBM preferred).

Preferred Certifications

• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent.
• Agile/Scrum certifications (CSPO, CSM) are a plus.
