Role Focus

We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Fabric, focused on enterprise data governance, metadata management, and Fabric-based data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Purview Implementation

• Configure and deploy Microsoft Purview for enterprise data governance
• Set up data cataloging, classification, sensitivity labels, and lineage
• Define and enforce data governance policies and standards
• Ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance

Fabric Integration

• Integrate Purview with Microsoft Fabric components
• Build scalable data pipelines with governance controls
• Enable data discovery and transparency for analytics & reporting

Documentation & Operations

• Maintain architecture, governance models, and lineage documentation
• Provide best practices and operational insights for Purview & Fabric

Expected Deliverables

• End-to-end Purview setup (cataloging, classification, lineage)
• Integration of Purview with Microsoft Fabric pipelines
• Metadata-driven ingestion and transformation frameworks
• Governance and architecture documentation
• Validation of governance and pipeline processes for MVP
