Internal Audit Associate - Financial Services

What role you will play in team: You will be a key member of our internal audit team, contributing to the assurance of financial controls within the organization. You will work closely with various departments to identify risks and improve processes.

What you will do: Conduct financial statement audits, review internal controls, and help develop recommendations to enhance risk management capabilities.

Key responsibility:

• Conducting financial statement audits in accordance with professional standards.
• Evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identifying and assessing risks associated with financial reporting.
• Developing and documenting audit procedures and findings.
• Preparing comprehensive audit reports and communicating results to management.
• Working with auditees to implement corrective actions.
• Staying up to date on accounting standards and auditing best practices.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• 0-1 years of experience in auditing and control environment
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Internal Audit standards
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
