Job Description
Job Summary:-
We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 36 years of experience in smart meter or energy meter testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience in FQC, IPQC, meter accuracy testing, calibration, and electrical safety testing.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Perform FQC and IPQC activities for smart meters and energy meters.
- Conduct meter accuracy testing using a meter test bench and reference standard meter.
- Perform starting current, no-load, HV, and IR tests.
- Handle meter calibration and dial testing.
- Ensure product compliance with IS 16444 and IS 13779 standards.
- Maintain quality inspection reports and testing records.
- Support FAI (First Article Inspection) and quality audits.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to quality procedures and testing standards.
- Support NABL-related testing and documentation requirements, where applicable.
