Collections Officer

What role you will play in team: You’ll be an essential part of our collections team, working to recover overdue payments and maintain healthy loan portfolios.

What you will do: You'll contact borrowers, negotiate payment plans, and ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts, all while adhering to regulatory compliance.

Key responsibility:

• Contact delinquent borrowers via phone, email, and/or in person to arrange payment plans.
• Negotiate repayment terms and schedules with borrowers.
• Document all communication and actions taken regarding delinquent accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of collections activities.
• Monitor and report on collections performance metrics.

• Identify and address potential collection issues and escalate as needed.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in collections or a related field (preferred).
