NSX Design & Implementation Engineer (VCF 9.x)

Job Title: VMware NSX Consultant / NSX Implementation Engineer
Location: Pan India / Pune/ Bangalore (As per Project Requirement)
Experience: 7–12 Years
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled NSX Design & Implementation Engineer with expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.x environments. The candidate will be responsible for NSX architecture design, deployment strategy, logical routing, edge deployment, and DR planning across enterprise multi-data center infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities NSX Architecture & Deployment

• Design NSX deployment topology for enterprise VCF environments
• Implement NSX Manager, Edge Clusters, and Edge Nodes deployment strategy
• Configure overlay and underlay networking architecture
• Design TEPs, Tier-0 (T0), and Tier-1 (T1) gateways
  

Routing & Connectivity

• 
  Design North-South connectivity and routing architecture
• Configure logical routing and traffic flow optimization
• Support hybrid networking and multi-site connectivity requirements
• Implement routing best practices for scalable NSX deployments
  

Disaster Recovery & High Availability

• Design DR strategy and failover architecture across two Data Centers
• Ensure high availability and resiliency for NSX infrastructure
• Conduct failover and recovery testing for DR scenarios
  

Operations & Implementation Support

• Collaborate with virtualization, storage, and network teams
• Support implementation, migration, and troubleshooting activities
• Maintain deployment documentation and operational procedures
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security and networking standards

  Strong hands-on experience with:
• VMware NSX-T
• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9.x)
• T0/T1 Gateways
• Overlay & Underlay Networking
• NSX Edge Clusters
• North-South Routing
• TEP configuration
• Good understanding of enterprise virtualization and networking concepts
• Experience in multi-DC deployments and DR planning
  

Nice to Have

• VMware certifications (VCP-NV / VCAP preferred)
• Experience with enterprise cloud environments
• Knowledge of micro-segmentation and DFW (optional)
• Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools
