Role Description

We are looking for an AI Engineering Lead to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI, data, and automation solutions that redefine client experience, advisory intelligence, and operational efficiency in wealth management.

You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and solution architects to build scalable, secure, and compliant AI systems powering AI assistants, advisor intelligence platforms, and predictive analytics engines.

Qualifications:

• Lead architecture, design, and deployment of AI/ML models for personalization, advisory automation, and risk analytics.
• Build and scale multi-agent and multi-modal AI systems enabling natural language interaction across voice, chat, and dashboard interfaces.
  
• Collaborate with product, portfolio, and research teams to translate investment intelligence into actionable AI features.
• Integrate GenAI, LLMs, and RAG pipelines with wealth data sources (CRM, portfolio systems, research reports).
• Oversee model governance, explainability, and regulatory compliance in line with SEBI/RBI guidelines.
• Partner with cybersecurity and data teams to ensure secure data architecture and privacy compliance.
• Lead vendor evaluations and implementation for AI frameworks, cloud platforms, and data pipelines.
• Mentor AI engineers and analysts; create an innovation-driven engineering culture

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of total experience with 3+ years in AI/ML solution architecture or leadership
• Proven background in AI/ML engineering (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, RAG, vector databases)
• Strong knowledge of financial data systems portfolio analytics, client profiling, recommendation engines

• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Hugging Face models) into real-world applications
• Experience with cloud-native AI (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps pipelines
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in BFSI / WealthTech (data protection, AI explainability, SEBI cyber norms)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capable of translating complex AI concepts into business outcomes
