Job Description
About the Role:As the Field Sales Lead for Mumbai, you will be the face of the organisation in this market - responsible for building a strong pipeline, managing the full sales cycle, and closing high-value deals in the cloud and IT services space. You will work closely with technology alliance teams to align on go-to-market strategies and capitalise on joint opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute a strategic territory sales plan for the Mumbai market with clear pipeline and revenue targets
- Manage the complete sales cycle end-to-end - from prospecting and lead generation through to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients and senior stakeholders across target accounts
- Collaborate closely with cloud technology alliance and partner teams to align on strategies and co-sell opportunities
- Drive new logo acquisition while expanding revenue within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting using CRM tools
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and partner engagements across Mumbai
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of field sales experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and cloud-based solutions - hands-on exposure to selling cloud services or cloud-enabled platforms is essential
- Experience in software services and IT consulting sales using a consultative, solution-led approach
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a defined geographic territory independently

- Strong existing network and relationships within the Mumbai market
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and C-level executives
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a hunter mindset and strong ownership attitude
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline and performance management
Good to Have:
- Prior experience working with cloud technology partners or hyperscaler ecosystems (e.g. Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
- Exposure to BFSI, manufacturing, or enterprise conglomerate segments in the Mumbai region
- Familiarity with co-sell or alliance-driven sales motions
