Production Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage complete production operations of EV two-wheeler assembly line.
  
• Ensure achievement of daily production targets (PQCDMS parameters).
  
• Conduct daily sunrise meetings and shift review meetings.
  
• Plan and monitor manpower deployment on the shop floor.
  
• Ensure implementation and adherence to SOPs and process standards.
  
• Monitor quality performance and reduce defects, rejection, and rework.
  
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  
• Coordinate with Purchase and Supply Chain for smooth material availability (MIW & BO parts).
  
  
  
• Control non-conforming products and maintain quality standards.
  
• Support new model introduction and variant development.
  
• Prepare and update Bill of Material (BOM) for production.
  
• Monitor KPIs such as FTR, line stoppage, productivity, and output.
  
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Ensure adherence to safety norms and maintain shop-floor discipline.
  
• Handle dealer vehicle documentation and portal entries where required.
  
• Train and guide operators, team leaders, and production staff.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• 310 years experience in automobile or EV manufacturing industry.
  
• Hands-on experience in two-wheeler assembly line / shop-floor production.
  
• Good knowledge of production planning, line balancing and manpower handling.
  
• Understanding of quality tools (7QC, RCA, CAPA) and defect control.
  
• Familiar with SOP implementation, 5S and Kaizen practices.
  
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Purchase, SCM).
  
• Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering.
  
• Good leadership, problem-solving and team handling skills.
