Role Description The Agency Manager role at Niva Bupa Health Insurance is a full-time, on-site position based in Latur. The Agency Manager is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and developing agency partners and insurance advisors to drive health insurance sales in the region. Day-to-day activities include setting sales targets, monitoring performance, providing regular coaching and training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves building strong relationships with customers and partners, overseeing local market development activities, and representing the company in community and corporate engagements. The Agency Manager will collaborate closely with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales management or agency management, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong skills in team leadership, people development, and performance management.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with agents, partners, and customers, with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Comfort with planning, target setting, and data-driven decision-making, including basic proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Sound understanding of health insurance or willingness to quickly learn product features, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelors degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience working in the Latur or surrounding markets and proficiency in local language(s) is highly beneficial.
