Credit Analyst

Credit - Role Summary The Financial Spreading & Covenant Monitoring Analyst will be responsible for analysing borrower financial statements, performing financial spreading, calculating key credit metrics, monitoring compliance with loan covenants, and supporting ongoing credit risk management activities. The role requires strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, lending products, and covenant compliance monitoring within corporate and commercial lending portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Statement Analysis & Spreading • Perform financial spreading of borrower financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and supporting schedules. • Analyse audited, reviewed, and internally prepared financial statements. • Normalize financial statements and identify non-recurring items impacting financial performance. • Input and validate financial data within spreading platforms and credit risk systems. • Conduct quality reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial spreads. • Identify trends, risks, and material changes in borrower financial performance. • Support credit teams with borrower financial assessments and periodic reviews.
