Job Title: Legal Associate

Location: Chennai (On-site & No Hybrid)

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year (2 to 3 years)

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, redline, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including:
• Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
• Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
• Software License Agreements
• SaaS Agreements and Vendor Contracts
• Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Provide legal support for business transactions, client engagements, and cross-functional operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Delivery, Compliance) to manage contractual risks and close deals efficiently.
• Assist in contract lifecycle management and maintaining the legal contract repository.
• Support due diligence, legal research, and regulatory compliance initiatives relevant to the IT/Tech sector.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 1 years post-qualification experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, preferably supporting IT/Technology clients.
• Strong understanding of commercial laws, data privacy regulations, and IP-related issues in contracts.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to international contracting (India/US/UAE jurisdictions).
• Familiarity with tools like Zoho Contracts or other CLM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and team player.
