Objective
To lead the institution's digital transformation by integrating technology into teaching, learning, research, and administration. Responsible for ensuring that IT infrastructure, digital platforms, and cybersecurity measures support academic excellence, student success, and institutional growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Academic Technology Integration
- Design and implement digital learning ecosystems (LMS, SIS, ERP) to support curriculum delivery, assessments, and student services.
- Facilitate blended and online learning models, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for diverse student populations.
- Support faculty with digital pedagogy tools, virtual classrooms, and e-content development.
- Introduce AI-driven learning analytics to personalize student learning and track academic progress.
Research & Knowledge Management
- Establish digital repositories for research publications, theses, and institutional knowledge.
- Provide secure platforms for collaborative research, data sharing, and innovation projects.
- Enable advanced computing resources for research in STEM and emerging fields.
Administrative Digital Transformation

- Modernize admissions, examinations, and placement processes through secure digital platforms.
- Digitize HR, finance, and compliance systems to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Ensure seamless communication between faculty, students, and parents via portals and mobile apps.
- Support accreditation and regulatory compliance through automated reporting and secure record management.
Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
- Maintain robust IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud systems) to support academic and administrative needs.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with student data privacy regulations.
- Implement firewalls, encryption, and secure authentication for sensitive academic and financial data.
- Establish incident response protocols to minimize disruption during cyber threats.
Student & Faculty Capacity Building
- Conduct workshops on digital literacy, cybersecurity, and responsible technology use.
- Promote innovation labs, hackathons, and coding clubs to build student skills in emerging technologies.
- Train faculty in digital pedagogy, online assessment tools, and data-driven teaching methods.
Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead and mentor the IT team to align with institutional priorities.
- Collaborate with academic leadership to ensure technology supports curriculum delivery and research.
- Manage vendor relationships for educational technology solutions, balancing quality, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
