Role Overview:
As a Product Manager II Product Discovery, you will own the customer experience across Search and Product Listing Pages (PLPs), helping millions of users effortlessly discover products that best meet their needs.
Your mission is to simplify product discovery by designing intuitive browsing and shopping experiences that reduce friction, minimize cognitive overload, and enable customers to make confident purchase decisions.
You will shape how customers navigate large product catalogs, refine choices, explore relevant products, and discover inspirationall while balancing customer experience with business outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone with exceptional product intuition, strong analytical thinking, and a deep appreciation for user experience design.
You should enjoy solving ambiguous consumer problems, using customer insights and experimentation to guide decisions, and partnering closely with Design to build elegant, scalable experiences.
You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Data Science, Merchandising, and Business teams to define the future of product discovery at Nykaa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the long-term vision and roadmap for discovery experiences across Search and Product Listing Pages.
- Continuously improve how customers browse, evaluate, compare, and discover products across large and diverse catalogs.
- Design intuitive customer journeys that reduce effort and help users quickly find products that best match their intent.
- Balance inspiration and efficiency by creating experiences that support both exploratory browsing and goal-oriented shopping.
- Design intuitive filtering, sorting, navigation, and product refinement experiences that simplify customer decision-making.
- Partner closely with Design to create clean, elegant, and scalable shopping experiences that prioritize usability and clarity.
- Identify opportunities where AI can meaningfully enhance product discovery and customer decision-making.
- Partner with Data Science and Engineering teams to build intelligent discovery experiences using customer behavior, personalization signals, and modern AI capabilities.
- Build a strong experimentation culture through rigorous A/B testing and hypothesis-driven product development.
- Analyze customer behavior, browsing journeys, funnel metrics, and product discovery patterns to uncover improvement opportunities.
- Lead large, cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Data Science, Merchandising, and Business teams.
Required Skillset:
- Academic Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree from a Tier 1 institution, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Experience: 3+ years of Product Management experience building customer-facing products in consumer internet or B2C e-commerce companies.
- Experience in beauty, fashion, marketplace, or retail e-commerce is preferred.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex product areas with measurable customer and business impact.
- Exceptional product sense with a strong understanding of customer behavior and shopping journeys.
- Proven experience designing intuitive consumer experiences in partnership with Product Design teams.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in product metrics, funnel analysis, experimentation, and behavioral analytics.
- Comfortable working with Engineering and Data Science teams to build scalable consumer products.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
Good to Have:
- Prior experience with search platforms, recommendation systems, or catalog quality tooling.
- Exposure to LLM-based product development, prompt engineering, or AI product prototyping.
- Familiarity with beauty, fashion, or lifestyle e-commerce and the nuances of catalog-driven search.
