Key Responsibilities:
Visit customers to remind and recover overdue loan installments.
Make phone calls to customers regarding pending EMIs.
Explain repayment terms and assist customers in resolving repayment issues.
Maintain daily recovery records and submit reports to the manager.
Coordinate with branch/agency staff regarding recovery status.
Handle recovery cases professionally while maintaining company reputation
Required Skills and Competencies
1. Communication Skills
Strong verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and regional languages.
Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism.
Persuasive and polite telephonic manners.
2. Negotiation and Persuasion
Skilled in negotiating repayment plans with borrowers.
Ability to influence customers without using aggressive tactics.
- Confidence in explaining financial concepts and repayment obligations.
3. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
Assess customers’ financial situations and propose suitable solutions.
Identify high-risk borrowers and create effective recovery strategies.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize follow-ups.
4. Technical Knowledge
Familiarity with loan types: personal loans, business loans, vehicle loans, mortgages, and credit card debts.
Working knowledge of MS Excel, CRM software, and loan management systems.
Awareness of RBI guidelines, loan recovery procedures, and financial regulations.
5. Personal Attributes
Self-motivated and target-driven.
