Job Description
Job Purpose and Scope:
Responsible for executing the sales strategy across the country and achieving the targeted sales revenue.
The role will focus on deepening relationships with existing customers, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and driving key customer projects to completion in collaboration with internal teams.
The position requires strong commercial acumen, excellent cross-functional coordination, and a customer-centric approach.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic:
- Execute the sales plan in alignment with the overall regional strategy.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to protect existing business and maximize future sales opportunities.
- Contribute to long-term strategic growth by identifying new market opportunities, customer segments, and partnership prospects.
Operational:
- Take ownership of performance against sales targets and regularly review sales revenue projections.
- Drive key customer projects to completion by coordinating with technical, marketing, regulatory, and customer service teams ensuring solutions are delivered on time and in full.
- Ensure adherence to CRM systems and processes for effective pipeline governance, opportunity tracking, and accurate forecasting.
Sales Management:
- Deepen relationships with existing accounts to strengthen partnerships and drive market penetration within the territory.
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to support growth objectives.
- Act promptly on all generated leads through calls, referrals, and marketing or promotional activities.
- Ensure timely and proactive responses to sales enquiries to maximize conversion opportunities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on critical customer queries and solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales data and customer records for the region.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to support effective inventory and supply planning.
- Monitor and follow up with customers to ensure accounts receivable are maintained in line with organizational guidelines.
- Maintain regular contact with distribution partners to ensure they receive the necessary support to grow the business in their respective markets.
- Continuously update product, scientific, and regulatory knowledge through self-learning and training.

- MBA in Sales.
Experience:
- 10-14 years of relevant sales experience exposure to Pharma / API businesses / Consumer / Nutraceutical.
- Demonstrated success in managing B2B sales, building customer relationships, and delivering projects with cross-functional teams.
- Should have deep connect among the top 30 brands in the country.
