We are currently seeking a Platform Engineering Admin (Databricks + AWS) with at least 8 years of experience to join our team. This position requires onsite work at one of the following locations: Hyderabad, Pune, Noida, Jaipur, or Bangalore. Immediate joiners are preferred for this role.
As a Platform Engineer/Admin with expertise in Databricks and AWS, you will be responsible for maintaining platform stability, performance, and security across cloud and big data environments. Your key responsibilities will include managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, administering and monitoring Databricks environment, collaborating with data engineering and DevOps teams, implementing platform-level security and compliance, troubleshooting platform issues, and optimizing performance and cost efficiency.
The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC. Proven experience in Databricks administration, including workspace setup, cluster configuration, and user/group roles, is essential. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash for automation, familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, good understanding of networking, security, and DevOps practices, and excellent problem-solving skills are required. Strong communication and documentation skills are also essential for this role.

Additionally, AWS certification (Solutions Architect / SysOps Admin), experience with other data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, etc.), and knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog, Prometheus, etc.) would be advantageous.
