Job Description
Orbit is looking forward to onboarding a diligent Quality Engineer. Candidate must have the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical or related engineering
- 3+ years of professional experience working in the Quality Assurance/ Statistical Process departments of Manufacturing/ Service industries.
- Proficient in communicating in English.
- Experience in handling Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, and advanced statistical analysis projects.
- Knowledge of 5S, 8D, Kaizen, QC tools, PFMEA.
- Should possess good knowledge of visualization dashboards like Power BI, Excel, and Qlik.
- Must be proficient in GD&T and reading drawings.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications & SAP environment.
- Independently work on software like JMP & Minitab.
Good to have:
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and its queries.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, Outlook, and MS Teams.
- Should have managed a team of quality engineers and executed projects with the team.
