Quality Engineer

Orbit is looking forward to onboarding a diligent Quality Engineer. Candidate must have the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical or related engineering
• 3+ years of professional experience working in the Quality Assurance/ Statistical Process departments of Manufacturing/ Service industries.

• Proficient in communicating in English.
• Experience in handling Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, and advanced statistical analysis projects.
• Knowledge of 5S, 8D, Kaizen, QC tools, PFMEA.
• Should possess good knowledge of visualization dashboards like Power BI, Excel, and Qlik.
• Must be proficient in GD&T and reading drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications & SAP environment.
• Independently work on software like JMP & Minitab.

Good to have:

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and its queries.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint, Outlook, and MS Teams.
• Should have managed a team of quality engineers and executed projects with the team.
