A trading company based in Dubai is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The organization is looking for a professional with solid UAE accounting experience who can manage financial operations efficiently while ensuring compliance with local regulations and reporting standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on experience within trading companies, and the ability to handle financial reporting responsibilities accurately and professionally. This position is suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a structured corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance
Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes while ensuring proper documentation
Maintain general ledger accuracy and oversee monthly and yearly closing procedures
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance standards
Monitor company financial transactions and assist management with financial analysis and reporting
Coordinate with auditors and support audit-related documentation when requiredRequirements:
4 to 5 years of accounting experience within the UAE (mandatory requirement)
Previous accounting experience in a trading company environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices
Good understanding of UAE VAT laws and compliance procedures
