Cold Store Executive - Guntur

Key Result Areas of role :

To oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the cold storage facility at the Chilly Warehouse.

The Cold Storage Executive will ensure efficient handling, accurate inventory management, and safe storage of raw materials, while adhering to Food safety, EHS and regulatory standards.

Inventory control: Oversee daily cold storage operations (Inward and Outward including Documentation), ensuring raw materials are handled and stored in compliance with company standards and food safety regulations.

Temperature Control: Continuously monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in the cold store to meet product-specific and regulatory requirements. Stock verification: Conduct periodic and cycle stock audits to ensure accurate stock records and identify discrepancies for corrective action.

Store maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols are followed within the cold storage area; maintain proper housekeeping and infrastructure upkeep.

Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks on stored goods to verify integrity, shelf-life, and compliance with storage standards.

Logistics management: Collaborate with the planning team, factories, and 3P vendors to ensure timely receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials.

Store security: Implement effective security measures to prevent theft, damage, and unauthorized access to inventory and premises.

Maintain storerecords: Keep accurate and up-to-date records for all inward, outward, inventory movement, and any customer/vendor transactions.

Risk management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with storage operations, including temperature fluctuations, equipment failure, or product deterioration.

EHS: Promote and maintain a safe and healthy workplace by enforcing EHS protocols, ensuring proper use of PPE, and conducting safety drills or audits.

Participate in company initiatives: Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, QA, procurement, and production teams to support and drive company-wide targets and improvement projects.

Attend meetings and training sessions: Attend relevant meetings, training sessions, and workshops regularly to upskill and stay updated on industry best practices and compliance standards (GMP, GHP, EHS).
