Responsibilities
The Position:

• Capture and analyze business requirements from Finance stakeholders to formulate Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions that support financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis needs.
• Design and implement EPM system solutions, including system architecture, project planning, risk assessment, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
• Serve as the primary administrator for Finance EPM applications and ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and availability.
• Perform hands-on development, configuration, and customization of EPM applications and related integrations.
• 
  Lead EPM projects by coordinating activities between Finance users, IT teams, and external consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for EPM applications.
• Identify process and system improvement opportunities and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and performance.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and effective financial systems solutions.
  

Qualifications
What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, and supporting Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions.
• Strong experience with Oracle EPM products, including Hyperion Essbase, Planning, FDMEE, and ODI.
• Experience working with Cognos and other financial planning and reporting applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, OLAP technologies, and Essbase calculation scripts.
• Good understanding of Unix environments and experience developing shell scripts.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, business case development, operating plans, and pricing/proposal development.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system solutions.
• Proven experience managing projects and collaborating with business users, IT teams, and third-party consultants.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and deliver solutions on time and within budget.
