BACKGROUND
SCOPE OF WORK
The Detailed Scope Of Work Would Be As Follows
- Tax System for Active Staff (US Citizens) and SRP Tax System for Retirees (US Citizens & Permanent Residents) are PeopleSoft bolt-on modules
- Systems are tightly integrated with PeopleSoft HCM, Personnel Administration, Benefits, Global Payroll, Pension Administration
- Integration with external system SAP (Travel & Accounts Payable)
- Includes PeopleSoft Self-Service module for capturing staff/retiree data for Quarterly tax calculations
- Supports multiple tax regions including:
- US Tax processing (W2, 1099 statements)
- UK tax allowance processing
- Singapore tax obligations
- Canada & India tax exemption letters
- Annual processing of approximately:
- W2 statements (5000)
- 1099 statements (3000)
- Tax team responsible for development, enhancement, and support of Tax systems
The Detailed Scope Of Work Would Be As Follows
- Develop new functionalities and enhancements for PeopleSoft Tax System as per industry standards
- Prepare technical documentation and system design
- Perform PeopleSoft development (PeopleCode, App Engine, App Package)
- Develop and maintain SQR reports/programs
- Handle database changes, SQL development, and configuration
- Perform unit testing of system changes (UT testing)
- Work on integration with SAP and PeopleSoft modules
- Ensure compliance with HR/Payroll tax processing logic and workflows
- 8+ years PeopleSoft Technical experience
- Strong expertise in PeopleCode
- Strong experience in Application Engine (App Engine)

- Strong experience in Application Package (App Package)
- Strong expertise in SQR (SQL Report Writer)
- Strong knowledge of SQL / Oracle database programming
- Strong experience with XML processing
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM module
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HR / Payroll tables structure
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Workflow
- Experience in SAP integration (nice to have exposure)
- Experience in self-service PeopleSoft applications
- Experience in tax systems (W2, 1099, international taxation processing)
- Strong technical documentation & design skills
- Strong leadership / mentoring (team lead experience preferred)
- Strong communication & stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to work in distributed / global teams
